Set in safe, secure grounds in a beautiful rural village with access to local facilities and amenities Forest Rock Day Nursery offers a flexible approach to childcare to suit the individual needs of your child and their families.
We build close relationships with families to ensure that the children’s learning, development and welfare is paramount and our staff are fully qualified, dedicated and offer a wealth of knowledge and experience.
We offer a combined learning opportunity that brings together care and education in the same way that parents, as the first educators wish for. The children can access this combined effort within a home from home environment. We plan and educate the children on a solely individual basis. Using the children’s knowledge, experiences and interests we are able to deliver a well-established cycle of learning which follows the EYFS framework. We can capture the children’s individual styles and learning on our online learning journeys provided by Blossom Educational. This gives us the opportunity to have a home to setting link within the children’s development using Parents as partners each and every day.

OUR RANGE OFActivites
This 30-minute session is held in the pre-school room on a Monday morning (term time only) and costs £2.00 per week. Children take part in a range of physical games and activities based around tennis. This is great for hand/eye coordination, learning about team work/turn taking and improving self-confidence.
All rooms are offered to take part in a 30-minute session on a Thursday morning (term time only) at a cost of £2.50 per week. The children dance and sing to a range of fun and educational songs using props and their imagination in their dance. Great fun for those who love to boogie and a fun way to build confidence, learning through play, the musical way.
The Caterpillar room takes part in a 30-minute Rugby session every Tuesday morning (term time only) at a cost of £2.50 per week. An energetic and dynamic play session to develop motor skills and build confidence whilst having fun in a team environment.
Our pre-school room are offered a 45-minute session on a Tuesday afternoon (term time only) at a cost of £3.50 per week. The children alternative between sweet and savoury recipes and can make the entire recipe from scratch – with help and support. They will bring their finished creations home to show you, alongside a recipe card should you wish to recreate at home.
Our pre-school too takes path in a 30 minute French class on a Wednesday morning (term time only) at a cost of £2.50 per week. The children learn how to say a range of words in French including numbers, colours, days/months and animals. This is great for enhancing communication skills, preparing children for the introduction of languages at primary school and building confidence when speaking in a group.
